PUBIC bone dysfunction
Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction

Pubis Bone Dysfunction (PBD) or Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) describes uncomfortable symptoms you feel in your pubic symphysis. Your pubic symphysis is a joint at the front and bottom of your pelvis. It connects your left and right pubic bones. Its job is to stabilize your pelvis. It also helps with movement and absorbs shock during physical activities like running. Chiropractors are trained to address pubic bone imbalances that contribute to lower back and pelvic floor pain, as well as dysfunction.

Pubic Bone Dysfunction (PBD) or Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) are general terms for pain or discomfort in the pubic symphysis joint. It can occur due to a number of reasons, including pregnancy, injury, or inflammation. This is generally easy to remedy with specific chiropractic adjustments, often using a special chiropractic table with drop pieces. Most patients feel some (or even complete) relief with one adjustment.
